THE BOYS PLAN...From the Girls Perspective

If you are not aware we have a puppy. Well, she is a full grown dog now=)
Under Moms rules she is not invited on beds, couches etc. James, and the kids have established a separate set of Daisy rules. They say she has to stay off furniture, but when I am out of the room they invite her to sit up on the bed by them. So, I pretend like I don't notice, and Daisy knows to jump off the bed if I walk in the room. It seems to work out alright.
However, Yesterday, when I came back from a short appointment at the church, I heard this funny(at least to me), story.
"MOM, DAISY THREW UP ON YOUR BED!!! (AJ) QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY, "BUT IT'S OKAY, WE TOOK THE COMFORTER OFF, AND PUT IT DOWN IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM... SO YOU CAN WASH IT."(JAMES)
I thanked them but, thought for a minute and asked "did you clean the throw up off the comforter first?" with all sincerity the reply was "we made sure we carried it downstairs carefully"
What could I say- They had carefully carried the blanket as not to leave a trail of dog sickness all the way to the laundry room. Men and boys just think so differently than girls- Savannah and I laugh because, we would have definitely handled this situation very different. Perhaps we would have cleaned up the mess, and taken it down and began the laundering process.
Our house is so much more fun because we have a mix of girls and boys!
